Kapada Dry Cleaners ( Loss Or Damage ) Terms Or Condition :

By using the services of Kapada Dry Cleaners (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”), you (“Customer”, “User”) agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before availing any service.

1. Scope of Services

Kapada Dry Cleaners provides dry cleaning, laundry, ironing, and related garment care services through physical stores, website, mobile applications, and partner platforms.

2. Garment Inspection & Acceptance

All garments are accepted for cleaning at the customer’s risk. The Company shall not be responsible for:

Pre-existing damage

Fabric weakness

Color bleeding

Shrinkage

Missing buttons, ornaments, or accessories

Manufacturer or tailoring defects

Cleaning is carried out using standard industry practices.

3. Limited Liability & Compensation Policy

In the event of damage, loss, theft, or fire while the garment is in the custody of Kapada Dry Cleaners, the Company’s liability shall be limited to either:

Six (6) times the dry cleaning charges paid for that garment, OR

A percentage of the garment’s original invoice value,

whichever is lower, subject to the conditions below.

4. Compensation Based on Garment Age

Garments up to 6 months old: Maximum compensation limited to 40% of the original invoice value.

Garments older than 6 months: Maximum compensation limited to 30% of the original invoice value.

Submission of a valid purchase invoice is mandatory for compensation claims.

5. Compensation Processing Time

All eligible and approved compensation claims shall be processed within 7–10 working days from the date of claim approval.

6. Force Majeure (Natural Calamities)

Kapada Dry Cleaners shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Earthquakes

Floods

Fires due to natural causes

Riots, strikes, pandemics

Acts of God

No compensation shall be provided in such cases.

7. Color & Fabric Disclaimer

Minor variations in color, texture, or fabric feel after cleaning are normal and do not constitute damage or service failure.

8. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines provided are estimated and may vary due to garment type, service complexity, operational conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Delays do not qualify for compensation.

9. Unclaimed Garments

Garments not collected within 30 days of completion may attract storage charges.

Garments unclaimed for 90 days may be disposed of without further notice.

No compensation shall be applicable for disposed garments.

10. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

Declaring special care instructions

Checking garments at the time of delivery

Reporting complaints within 48 hours of delivery

Complaints raised after this period may not be entertained.

11. Right to Refuse Service

Kapada Dry Cleaners reserves the right to refuse service for any garment due to fabric risk, hygiene concerns, or operational limitations.

12. Final Decision Authority

The Company reserves the right to make the final and binding decision regarding garment condition, service quality, and compensation claims.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and courts located in Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

Kapada Dry Cleaners reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services implies acceptance of updated terms.
